Born on 21st September 1988, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is a Pakistani politician who has made waves in the country’s politics. He served as the 37th Foreign Minister of Pakistan 🏛️, from April 27, 2022, to August 10, 2023. He’s also the chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), a title he took up in 2007, after his mother, Benazir Bhutto’s tragic assassination. 💔

Coming from the famous Bhutto family, Bilawal is the son of Benazir Bhutto (former Prime Minister of Pakistan) and Asif Ali Zardari (former President of Pakistan). His political roots run deep as his grandfather is the legendary Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

🎓 Early Life & Education 🏫

Bilawal was born in Karachi and raised in a politically charged atmosphere. His early education was at Karachi Grammar School and Froebel’s International School in Islamabad. In 1999, after his family went into exile in Dubai, Bilawal continued his studies at the Rashid School For Boys. He later attended Oxford University, earning a degree in Modern History and Politics 🎓 in 2012.

🚀 Political Career

At just 19 years old, Bilawal was appointed chairman of PPP after his mother’s passing. One of his memorable quotes: “My mother always said, democracy is the best revenge.” 💬

Under his leadership, the PPP vigorously contested the 2018 elections and emerged as the largest party in Sindh and the third-largest in Pakistan. 🗳️ He won his seat from Larkana but lost two others.

In 2024, Bilawal returned to the National Assembly after winning from NA-194 Larkana-I.
